Privacy at ZAM.
ZAM Partnerships is an independent creator–brand partnerships business based in Québec, Canada. This notice describes the information we handle when you visit our website, contact us, or communicate with us about potential sponsorships. It is intended for individuals whose information we handle, including brand contacts and creators.
Who is responsible?
The founder of ZAM Partnerships is responsible for the protection of personal information in our custody, unless that role is delegated in writing. The contact details for the privacy officer are listed below.
Information we may collect
- Messages you send: name, business email, company or channel details, social or professional profiles, proposed campaign budget, rates, audience statistics and other information you decide to include.
- Professional contact information: business contact details and publicly available professional details used to assess possible partnerships and to contact relevant decision-makers or creators where permitted by law.
- Basic technical information: our website host may process IP addresses, request timestamps and similar technical logs to operate and protect the site.
Our website uses email links rather than a built-in web form. Please avoid emailing sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and requested.
Why we use information
- To respond to enquiries and communicate about potential brand–creator collaborations;
- To evaluate creator fit, campaign objectives, pricing and available audience information;
- To propose a relevant shortlist and coordinate a collaboration when the parties choose to proceed;
- To administer business records, safeguard our accounts, respond to privacy requests and meet legal obligations.
We limit collection and use to purposes relevant to our work and applicable legal requirements. We do not sell personal information.
Who may receive information
We may share relevant business and creator information with the brand, creator, or their authorized representatives when reasonably needed to evaluate or coordinate a potential partnership. We also use service providers such as Google Workspace for business email and a website-hosting service once the site is deployed. These providers may process information to deliver their services. We do not intentionally publish private emails or unpublished media kits on this website.
Information handled outside Québec
Some service providers and collaboration partners may be based outside Québec. Where applicable, information may be processed or accessed in other jurisdictions, whose privacy rules may differ. Before a disclosure outside Québec requiring a privacy impact assessment, we must assess the privacy implications and apply appropriate safeguards.
Cookies, analytics and automated decisions
The website files prepared for launch do not include third-party advertising pixels, analytics trackers, embedded contact forms or scripts that intentionally set optional tracking cookies. A hosting service may still use essential technical logs or security technologies. We will review the provider's actual practices before launch and update this notice and obtain any required consent before introducing optional tracking. This website does not make decisions about individuals solely through automated processing.
How we protect and retain information
We use access controls and account security measures appropriate for a small business. We review information periodically and delete or de-identify it when no longer needed for its original purpose, unless retention is required for legal, accounting or dispute-related reasons. Retention depends on the type of correspondence, engagement status and applicable requirements. No electronic system is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information about you, correction of inaccurate details, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and deletion or portability where the law provides for it. You may also raise concerns about how we handle your information. We may need to confirm your identity before responding to a request.
Privacy governance and complaints
Our founder is responsible for implementing privacy practices appropriate to our activities, including access restrictions, retention and secure disposal practices, handling requests and complaints, and assessing confidentiality incidents. We will record and assess privacy incidents and provide notifications where legally required. If you raise a privacy concern, we will review it and respond through the contact method you provide.
Updates
We may update this notice when our services, vendors, information practices or legal obligations change. Material updates will be made available here and communicated where required.
